Joe Ebaugh, Director of Trademark Licensing

Joe Ebaugh, the University's Director of Trademark Licensing, joined the Office of Technology Commercialization in July 2008. Since coming to the University in 2002 he had been housed with Athletics in the Comcast Center, but moved to OTC in order to consolidate the University's intellectual property protection initiatives under one roof. He will continue to handle the licensing of University trademark and logo merchandise from his new location. Joe completed a Bachelor of Science degree from the Pennsylvania State University before working nearly 20 years in various sales and marketing positions in the specialty outdoor industry, representing brands such as Sierra Designs and The North Face in the Mid-Atlantic region. In addition to his licensing duties, Joe represents the University on the board of the Fair Labor Association, a labor rights non-profit organization based in D.C.
