Louis Mari is a Licensing Analyst for the Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC), focusing on the University of Maryland's information and physical science technology portfolios.

Prior to joining the OTC, Louis was a Technology Commercialization Specialist within the Strategic Partnerships Office at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. He also worked as a Patent Prosecution Paralegal at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox in Washington, D.C., and interned at the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, VA as a student trainee patent examiner.

Louis received his B.S. in Physics summa cum laude from Hampden-Sydney College, and his Masters in Engineering Management (MEM) from Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering.
