Louis J. Cantolupo is a Maryland Innovation Initiative Site Miner for the University Maryland, College Park. He has worked in the biotechnology industry for nearly 20 years, both at the bench top, as a founder of a contract services firm, and in business development roles both in the US and EU for firms including GenVec, Omnia Biologics, Crucell Holland, and Valneva. Over his career, Lou has developed broad experience in the licensing and partnering of biological platform technologies and products, particularly in the areas of cell-based biomanufacturing technologies, vaccines, and monoclonal antibodies. Lou holds an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business and a BS in biotechnology from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
